Since 1990 Pension Fund Accountant has been used by both Pensions Managers and Pensions Consultants to keep the accounts of many hundreds of UK pension funds, ranging in value from less than £1Million to more than £1Billion. Over the years users have found it easy to use and extremely reliable and problem-free.
The Windows version was first released in January 1998, and now supports the requirements of the 2007 Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP).
You certainly don’t need to be an accountant to use Pension Fund Accountant, though many users are. It uses everyday language rather than accountancy jargon, so for example you will never need to know the difference between a debit or credit.
A fully operational Trial Pack is available to enable you to try out the system in your own time. This is the complete package, including a comprehensive help file and a Trial Pack Manual. However it does limit you to 20 transactions - more than enough to experience the power and simplicity of the system, but insufficient to complete a full set of accounts. Please go to the Downloads page in order to grab a copy of the Trial Pack and the Trial Pack Manual.
Features

- Supports the requirements of the 2007 SORP, and produces reports in the recommended format.
- You can start work on a new year's accounts before the previous year's are completed, because it's easy to reset the opening balances for the new year any number of times.

- Powerful Reconciliation Procedure.
- Amend existing transactions when errors are spotted.
